The location of this hotel was absolutely stunning! It had breathtaking views of the river and the nearby cathedral. The surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect spot for a holiday retreat. Additionally, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area.
The room was quite small, which was a bit disappointing. It felt a bit cramped, especially considering the price we paid for our stay.

What a pleasant surprise! I recently stayed at this charming hotel for a few days and it exceeded all my expectations. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the hotel had a cozy and traditional atmosphere that truly made me feel like I was in Portugal. The location was unbeatable, with stunning views and plenty of private outdoor spaces where I could relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. It was also nice to stay in a smaller hotel where I had the chance to interact with other guests and make new friends. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem every time I visit.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

This place is enchanting, the best accommodation we had in our northern trip in Portugal. It's a gem by the river, an old house with old furniture that gives much character. The rooms have all amenities working and breakfast is served personally by the lovely host Nuno. The outside area has hammocks and a small but refreshing swimming pool. An overall excellent stay to recommend hands down. There is also free parking inside the property, an added bonus.
Would recommend this hotel.
